About Rochester, NY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Rochester is a city south of Lake Ontario in New York. It is sometimes referred to as the ‘World’s Image Center” and “The Flower City.”  With a population of just over 200,000, it is neither a huge city nor a tiny town.  This is attractive to many people who enjoy a small town feel with all of the conveniences and amenities of the big city. The weather is cold in the winter but warm and sunny in the summer meaning that one can visit the shore one month and a few months later be skiing upstate.

The city of Rochester is home to numerous cultural and arts organizations which make it a unique and exciting place to live, work and play.  If you are interested in local and community theatre then you should definitely check out the East End Theatre in the theatre district. If you would like to learn about the performing arts yourself then contact the Rochester Association of Performing Arts, which is a non-profit committed to providing theater classes to the community. Geva Theatre Center is the largest professional theater in Rochester and would be a welcome respite from a bitterly cold winter day in this northern town.  Take in a show and enjoy the arts and culture of the area while keeping warm and toasty.

What is there to do when you are looking to let loose and have some fun?  The east side of town is just not home to the theatre district.  The East End district is also the indisputable center of Rochester’s nightlife, clubs and bar scene. Crowded with nightclubs, lounges, bars, and restaurants, it is a definite hot spot in town. However, if you are more interested in outdoor recreation than arts or parties, the town also maintains quite a few parks which can be enjoyed at any time of year.  However, they are particularly lovely in the spring sun as the flower bloom or in the chill of autumn when the leaves begin to fall. The town is home to over 3,500 acres of parkland so you are sure to somewhere to hike, bike, play or simply stop and smell the roses!
